Ingredients

  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup pepperoni, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 30 wonton wrappers rice wrappers for gluten-free
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  • Prep the pizza rolls. Spread out several wontons or rice wrappers. Add some marinara, pepperoni, and cheese to each wrapper towards one edge of the wrapper to help with sealing. Sprinkle with Italian seasoning.
  • Seal the pizza rolls. Wet a pastry brush with water and wet the edges of the wrapper. Fold over and press shut. Brush with olive oil and place onto the air fryer rack. Repeat.
  • Air Fry. Preheat the air fryer to 370°F. Cook pizza rolls in batches or freeze extras for later. Air fry for 8 minutes then flip. Brush with additional olive oil and cook an additional 3-4 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Serve. Serve hot dipped in marinara sauce.

Notes

  • Don't overstuff your pizza rolls! Make sure they'll seal or else you'll have your fillings bursting out in the air fryer.
  • Try to get the olive oil over the whole pizza roll in an even layer. That's how your pizza rolls will get a nice golden brown color.
  • If you choose to put additional ingredients in your pizza rolls, it's a good idea to pre-cook them. Your pizza rolls won't be in the air fryer long enough to cook meat or soften veggies.
