Our air fryer baked apples use brown sugar and cinnamon to create a crisp caramelized coating. These little treats are the ultimate go-to dessert when you've got fresh apples on hand.
Prepare the apples for baking. Place the apples on a cutting board. Cut the top off each apple, then use the apple corer to core each apple. Place onto air fryer tray.
Add cinnamon and brown sugar. Sprinkle each apple with cinnamon then evenly distribute the brown sugar over the top of the apples.
Preheat air fryer to 350°F and bake. Bake for 15 -20 minutes or until apples are soft. Serve hot with a scoop of vanilla ice cream if desired.
Notes
If you don't own an air fryer, place the apples in the oven to bake at 400°F for 20-30 minutes or until soft.
