Ingredients

  • 4 slices bread
  • 4 teaspoons butter softened
  • 4 tablespoons peanut butter
  • 2 tablespoons jelly

Instructions

  • Prep the sandwich. Butter one side of each slice of bread. Place 2 slices butter side down on the air fryer tray. Spread with peanut butter and top with jelly. Place the other pieces of bread on top with the butter side facing up.
  • Preheat the air fryer then cook. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F. Air fry for 4 minutes then flip and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
  • Serve. Slice in half and serve hot.

Notes

  • We all love a gooey sandwich but don't add too much peanut butter, or you'll have a big mess of melted peanut butter in your air fryer.
  • Make sure the butter covers the entire slice of bread, right to the edges. This helps to make sure you end up with 'grilled' bread, add that it doesn't get dry or burn.
  • For a yummy and filling lunch, serve with chips, pretzels, veggie sticks, fruit slices, or yogurt.
