Cooking a frozen pot pie in the air fryer is the best way to cook a frozen pot pie. While this method takes longer than heating in the microwave, it results in a super crispy crust that is worth the wait!

Equipment

  • air fryer
  • tin foil

Ingredients

  • 1 7.5 ounce frozen pot pie

Instructions

  • Preheat the air fryer and prep the pot pie. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F. Remove the pot pie from the box and cover with tin foil.
  • Air fry. Air fry for 15 minutes. Remove the tin foil and cook an additional 5 minutes to get a crisp golden crust.

Notes

  • You might have to cook these in batches if your air fryer is small and you need more than one pot pie. If so, keep the first one covered with foil and it should stay warm while the second one cooks.
  • If your pot pie crust is getting too brown but your filling isn't quite done, just lay the tin foil back overtop of the pot pie. You don't have to tuck it back down around the sides.
