Hot Pockets in the air fryer produce a crispy, golden exterior with a evenly heated and flavorful filling. The hot air circulating in the air fryer crisps up the pastry shell and gives it a crunchy texture, similar to what you would get from oven baking.
Prep the Hot Pockets. Place a small piece of parchment paper on the air fryer try. Unwrap the Hot Pockets and place them onto the parchment paper.
Air Fry. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F. Air fry for 6-8 minutes or until the outside turns golden brown.
Serve. Serve hot.
Notes
Unlike the microwave, you don't need the crisper tray. It might catch on fire in the air fryer! So you can throw it away.
Use parchment. It will help the bottoms of your Hot Pockets brown without burning. It will also make cleaning up super easy!
Preheat your air fryer. Let it come all the way up to temperature. If not, the outside might cook faster than the inside, and the inside might end up too cool.
