What are Mini Tacos?
Mini tacos are a smaller-sized version of regular tacos, served in mini shells, each about 2-3 inches in diameter. They’re full of taco-seasoned ground beef and other taco fixings and they make a perfect snack or appetizer because they can be easily picked up and eaten in a few bites, and don’t make a mess. They’re finger food that goes well with plenty of other appetizers and that just about everyone loves!
What toppings can I put on my Mini Tacos?
Mini tacos are small, so you need to be thoughtful about which toppings you put on them. In most cases, you need to keep the toppings to just a few or you’ll end up with very messy mini tacos. I like beef and cheese, but here are some other options for you:
- Salsa
- Taco sauce
- Chicken or pork (instead of beef)
- Sour cream
- Cotija cheese
- Green onions
- Jalapenos
- Lettuce
- Tomato
- Guacamole
- Onion
